2014 is shaping up to be a pretty eventful year for all of us here at Brickshire. For our second public display of the year we returned to The Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate for the 21st National Model Engineering And Modeling Exhibition. Last year’s show was our first public display and it was great to be invited back with even more space to show off our awesome hobby.
We had some amazing new MOC’s on show such as a selection of different Pokémon, an incredibly detailed Mechanised Espionage Unit holding a Transport Ship as well as a few older ones. We also created a large city which included various MOC’s, retail sets and trains.
Again we ran a “Spot the Minifigure” competition, whereby visitors had to find nine super-heroes, and the letters that they were holding. They then had to solve the anagram in order to be in with a chance of winning some LEGO sets. I can now exclusively reveal that the winning word over the weekend was:

It was a great 3 days answering loads of questions and meeting lots of possible new members. Thanks to everyone who displayed and helped out over the weekend. It was another great success.
